Dr. Dalton Gilligan

Dalton Gilligan, DPT earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013 and has since helped thousands of patients recover from a wide range of conditions. With extensive experience and a commitment to ongoing education, he focuses on treating temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD) and vestibular conditions, including dizziness, balance disorders, and jaw pain. Dalton provides care both in patients' homes and at Integrated Martial Arts and Fitness Studio.

Dalton has advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation and TMD treatment. He has completed specialized education through the American Institute of Balance and participated in programs with TMD experts, including a mini-residency designed to enhance his ability to properly care for this delicate joint. He continues to build on this knowledge through additional training in spine care and other specialized areas.

Passionate about helping people heal so they can continue doing what they love, Dalton draws from his own experiences as a jiujitsu practitioner and board sports enthusiast. He understands the importance of staying active and uses this perspective to guide his patients toward long-term recovery and improved quality of life.

Dalton takes a comprehensive, hands-on approach to treatment. He tailors each plan to the individual, using a combination of therapeutic exercises and advanced manual techniques, including myofascial cupping, joint mobilizations, and manipulations. His approach helps reduce pain, restore movement, and build strength.

He has extensive experience helping patients with vestibular conditions, including dizziness caused by Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), as well as symptoms related to vestibular neuritis and labyrinthitis. Additionally, he works with older adults to address balance issues and fall prevention, helping them maintain an active and independent lifestyle.

For patients with TMD, Dalton takes a gentle, thorough, and individualized approach. He incorporates targeted stretches, intraoral techniques, and muscle therapy while identifying lifestyle factors that may contribute to symptoms. He works closely with each patient to develop clear, practical treatment plans that promote lasting relief.
