Vestibular Rehabilitation

Did you know physical therapists treat dizziness?  Dalton has over 10 years treating vestibular conditions, and advanced training and specialization through the American Institute of Balance.  He will help fully address your dizziness in a one on one environment, guiding you through the necessary rehabilitation.

Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo

Also known as BPPV, this is the most common cause of dizziness. Individuals with this condition experience intense rotational dizziness when rolling over or in certain positions. Fortunately, with proper care, this can usually be addressed in just a few short sessions.

Hypofunction

Many conditions can weaken your inner ear, leading to feelings of disequilibrium and dizziness. This may also result in fatigue and a sense of fogginess. Specific exercises can be performed to help your nervous system adapt and reduce these symptoms.

3

Balance and Falls

Physical therapy has repeatedly proven effective in reducing the risk of falls. Falls can have serious consequences, including injury, hospitalization, and a decline in quality of life. With years of experience in fall prevention and maximizing wellbeing, Dalton offers personalized sessions in the comfort of your own home. He will also provide recommendations to enhance the safety of your environment.

Concussion Rehabilitation

While most concussion symptoms resolve within 2-3 weeks, they can sometimes linger. These symptoms may include dizziness, eye strain, headaches, fatigue, neck pain, and exercise intolerance. Dalton conducts a thorough examination to pinpoint the source of persistent symptoms and customizes an exercise program to suit your specific needs.
